The new Tumi Alpha has started to trickle in!! For those familiar with Tumi, this is almost a throwback to the the Tumi USA days. The changes are subtle, but they have played upon their own iconic ballistic series, and present us with a collection that can only be described as "classic" Tumi. Awesome stuff. The new leather they are using is also a throwback. It seems as if they have dropped the soft nappa in favor of a leather that has the same smooth hand, but feels tough and heavy enough to ensure it appeals to those expecting their bags to be put up with serious use, and still be in good enough shape to last a generation.
