The year is 1977. Two childhood friends, already long-standing business partners, decide to branch into leatherwear taking their inspiration from a brightly-plumed oriental duck that symbolises happiness and loyalty: this is how Mandarina Duck started out. Almost thirty years after such a brilliant start, Mandarina Duck continues to be original and independent, but also modern, coming up with new products, distribution choices and communication tactics year after year.
